Here's my reading list for this month. It's all over the place and I have no explanation.
- A Book of Common Prayer, Joan Didion. I picked this up in paperback at the Friends of the SFPL annual book sale a few years ago, so why not read it now?
- Califauna, Terry Beers & Emily Elrod. I found this at the library and it's genius. The editors have put together wonderful excerpts of literary works about native California animals. I read a chapter or two to Elliott before bed.
- Montessori: A Modern Approach, Paula Polk Lillard. ALL THE MONTESSORI THINGS!
- Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns, Lauren Weisberger. I inexplicably loved The Devil Wears Prada, most likely because I read it after my first major break-up along with Fear of Flying. Oh god, that was an embarrassing sentence.
- Faithful Place, Tana French. Moody Irish cop with a checkered past, yes, please, Tana. Her books make me want to eat fried eggs, toast and rashers 24/7.
- The Pursuit of Love, Nancy Mitford. How have I never read any Nancy Mitford before?
