Molly at Orangette's post on feeding her daughter.
True Detective on HBO. This show has everything: Woody Harrelson, spooky bayous, quaaludes and ritualistic serial murders. Basically, this is my dream show.
Who Am I To Judge? James Carroll's profile of Pope Francis in The New Yorker. (Spoiler alert: He's awesome, but human.)
MAKING
Five-Minute Healthy Peach Frozen Yogurt. I've taken to cruising the "Everything" section on Pinterest because I've found a few gems among all the lowest common denominator junk. I had very low expectations for this actually working, but holy crap, it's effing delicious. It did take a goodly amount more than five minutes for my Cuisinart to make smooth, tart goodness out of 16 ounces of frozen peaches, one half cup of Greek yogurt, two tablespoons of honey and the juice of half a lemon. But look at that ingredient list -- that's all it is and I WANT TO EAT IT ALL. But I didn't because it's all about moderation and I'm trying to not be a crazy food monster right now.
Sashiko stitching. I have always loved embroidery and needlepoint. My mom used to set me up with simple little needlepoint patterns and I would sit quietly in a state of relaxed focus. It was all very zen. I'm going to start with a small tea towel kit in the traditional wave pattern and will work on it during our trip to Santa Fe.
