Toddler Jokes

Driving into work and daycare one morning, Elliott was pointing out various objects he spotted along the way and asking for us to confirm each sighting. It went something like this:

Elliott:  "Look at that cloud."

Mom and Dad: "Uh huh." [go back to listening to NPR and thinking about that second cup of coffee]

Elliott:  "LOOK THE CLOUDS MOMMY."

Mom: "Yes, clouds in the sky!"

Elliott:  "LOOK THE CLOUDS DADDY."

Dad: "Yep, clouds."

Elliott:  "Look, a garbage truck."

Mom and Dad:  "Yay! A garbage truck! We see it."

Elliott:  "Look at all dose trees! Look the trees DADDY."

Dad:  "Yeah, I see all those trees!"

Elliott: "NOPE." [giggles]

I think this is the toddler version of Made Ya Look.
